Pals Blog Hop - It's the Sentiment That Counts

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created projects where “It’s the Sentiment that Counts.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Hi there! For the blog hop today I wanted to make a card that had a simple, bold sentiment that really stood out. The Tag Buffet Photopolymer Stamp Set has a lot of really great Christmas sentiments and I knew that I could make a great Christmas mantle card with this set. The sentiment is on the fireplace mantle above the stockings. It's simple yet bold and I love it!

For the fireplace I used my Tulip Builder Punch to punch out the top pieces of some of the tulips and leaves in Pumpkin Pie cardstock and pieced them together to make the fire. I added some Wink of Stella to give it some extra glitz. The picture below shows a better angle for the glitz in the fire and the Wonderful Gems that I placed next to the sentiment.

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on October 14th when our theme is “Tag, You’re It!” Participants will showcase tags or 3D items that will be great for gifts for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.
