Blossoms in Bloom Birthday Card

Today I have this beautiful bold birthday card to share.  The flowers in the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle looked like petunias to me so that's where my search began. If you do a petunia search you will come up with all kinds of colors that you can use as your starting point. I did a search for different petunia colors and came up with one that is called the "limelight" petunia. The colors were just so bold and beautiful I had to try to make it into a card.

Here is a picture of the limelight petunia that inspired this card...
Gorgeous isn't it?! I love taking colors from nature and using them as my inspiration! Here's another angle of the stunning card. You can see the dimension from popping up the layer onto the card base...
Card Recipe:
(Don't forget to see the complete product showcase at the bottom of this post)
Cut Your Paper:
Basic Black Card Layer: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Basic Black Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11"
Basic Black Sentiment Strip: 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Make Your Flower Background:
1. Run a piece of Magenta Madness Cardstock through a diecutting machine using the thicker flower die from the Many Layered Blossoms Dies.
2. Next run a piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock through a diecutting machine using the thinner flower die from the Many Layered Blossoms Dies.
3. To adhere the flowers together lay the Granny Apple Green layer on your Silicone Craft Sheet. Now take your Stampin' Seal (or Snail Adhesive) and apply to the back of your flower layer. Adhere to the Magenta Madness flower layer and removed any excess adhesive with an adhesive remover.
Stamp Your Sentiment:
1. Lay your Basic Black Sentiment Strip on your Stamparaus and secure in place with magnet.
2. Center the sentiment on the strip and flip the Stamparatus plate on to the stamp to secure it in place.
3. Ink up sentiment in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle White Stampin' Emboss Powder over sentiment and flick to remove any excess powder. Set with your Heat Tool.
Assemble:
1. Adhere Mini Glue Dots to the back of the flowers and adhere to the Basic Black Card Layer.
2. Apply Stampin' Seal (or Snail Adhesive) to the back of the sentiment strip and apply to the center of the card layer over the flowers as shown. Trim with Paper Snips if necessary.
3. Apply a few Magenta Madness Enamel Dots from the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots using your Take Your Pick to help with placement.
4. Fold your Basic Black Card Base in half and burnish with your Bone Folder.
5. Apply Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the card layer and adhere it to the card base and you're done!
