Pals Blog Hop
Hello, welcome to the Pals Blog Hop! This month our theme is “Goodbye to January-June Mini and 2019-2020 Annual Catalogs and Hello to 2020-2021 Annual Catalog” where the Design Team is showcasing their favorites from the retiring catalogs or products in the new catalog! You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I played a bit of a trick on my mom recently. She saw the card from the blog hop last month that I made and assumed that it was her Mother's Day card. Of course I couldn't send her a card that she's already seen! So I made this card for her for Mother's Day, haha. I wanted it to be a surprise so I just let her think that the one from last month was her card. Hehe. Sorry to make 2 Mother's Day cards in a row for blog hop posts, but that's why I did it.
For this card I combine the Ornate Garden Suite of products (Gilded Gems, Ornate Garden DSP and Ornate Borders Dies) with the Heartfelt Bundle. I really like how this turned out.
For the floral border, I ran a bunch of lines of Snail Adhesive toward the bottom of the Whisper White card base. I took a piece of Terracotta Tile cardstock and ran the Ornate Border Die through the end. I think cut out this same border in Gold Foil, Old Olive and Blushing Bride Cardstock. I carefully layed the Terracotta Tile piece over where the Snail Adhesive was laying on the Whisper White Cardstock so that the die cut opening was sticking to the Snail Adhesive. I then used my Take Your Pick tool to carefully insert the small pieces into their respective holes as shown in the photo.
It takes a bit of patience but the outcome is stunning! Below is a close-up of the card...
Bundle & Save! Don't forget that when you purchase a bundle you save 10%! The Heartfelt Bundle is so versatile and I love how great it pairs with products from the Ornate Garden Suite.

I highly recommend pairing this bundle with your Ornate Garden projects. I think they pair together so nicely.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and I hope that you'll leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I love hearing from you!

Beautiful card Jen. Love the attention to detail. The combination of the two stamp sets was awesome.
