Pals Blog Hop – Time to Sale-A-Brate!

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because it’s “Time to Sale-A-Brate”! We’re showcasing our favorite new products from 2020 Sale-A-Bration brochure. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
When I saw Birthday Bonanza Suite Bundle (Item# 153292) in the new Mini Catalog it was instantly my favorite! I thought the lion, toucan and koala were just too cute! I knew when it was available for demonstrator pre-order that it was definitely going to be on my shopping list.

Today I have made a Ferrero Rocher Sliding Gift Box using the Birthday Bonanza Suite Bundle (Item# 153292). This would be the perfect little treat box to give to someone to let you know that you are thinking about them.

This chocolate slider box holds 3 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, isn’t it just the cutest?!
How do you make it? What products are used to create this cute box? To see the complete PDF instructions, click HERE. To see the full list of products used and to shop them in my online store, click on any image in the product showcase at the bottom of this post. You can also click on the products in the PDF instructions to view them in my online store.

Did You Know? The Bonanza Dies cut out the characters from the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper! I didn’t have the colors that coordinate with this suite on hand so I decided to try an experiment to see if I could cut the lion out of the DSP and it worked!

Here’s what I did for the lion:

You start with the mane and tail…
Then cut out the body…
Then glue all of the pieces together!
Although the Birthday Bonanza Suite Bundle (Item# 153292) seems to be birthday focused, you really can use it for any occasion. This would be a great gift to just let someone know you are thinking about them. It would be great to take to a friend or neighbor to let them know they are special to you and catch up and see how their holiday went.

I challenge you! Make this treat box and gift it during a visit with a neighbor or friend and see how they are doing. How was their holiday break? How are they feeling? What can you do to connect or re-connect? It just might be the highlight of their January (and yours).

Leave me a comment! I hope that you have enjoyed this little project and if you did, leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I love getting feedback on my creations! Also, if you accept my challenge I hope you will leave me a comment below and tell me what you plan to do and how it works out. I would love to hear all about it!

    • Thanks Karen! I agree, seeing the steps helps. I love when the dies cut out the images in the DSP, I personally am not the biggest fan of fussy cutting. Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Thanks for the great tip on cutting out the lion! You could cut the body from plain white copy paper to have a base to glue your pieces on. Such a cute treat box!
